George Monbiot (www.monbiot.com) is an internationally
renowned journalist, acclaimed author, academic and
environmental and political activist in the United
Kingdom who writes a weekly column for The Guardian
newspaper. In his most recent book 'Heat', George
presents compelling arguments about what we need to
do to prevent runaway, catastrophic climate change.

George will deliver his presentation via an
interactive video conference link-up where
attendees at the Melbourne University venue
will be able to ask George questions after
his presentation. He will focus his talk on
what we need to do internationally and in
Australia to work towards a liveable future
for our children.

Seating is limited so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
