Wasted Votes and Preferences

Many people still don't understand our preference system and that you can vote "1" for a minor party and still pass your vote on to one of the major parties using the preference system.

This lack of understanding reduces the amount of votes going to minor parties and independents and helps reduce the number of candidates in our parliaments with stronger climate policies.
